Terms of Service & Cancellation Policy
These terms apply to every session, gift certificate, and membership purchased from Total Body Flow Massage® ("we," "us," "our"). By booking a session you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not book.
1. Booking and confirmation
Appointments may be booked online via Squareup Appointments, by phone, or by SMS at 208-277-7889. All bookings are confirmed once we acknowledge them in writing (text or email); until then, the time slot is not held. We may decline a booking for any lawful reason, including scheduling conflicts, geographic distance, or safety considerations.
2. Payment
Sessions are billed at the rates shown on our In-Home Massage Menu. We accept credit and debit cards via Square, plus contactless payment. Payment links are typically sent by SMS within 24 hours prior to the appointment. Members are billed monthly on the first day of the month via stored payment authorization through Square.
3. Cancellation policy
- 24+ hours' notice: no fee — full refund or reschedule.
- Less than 24 hours' notice: 50% of the session price.
- No-shows: charged in full (100% of the session price).
- Members: one no-fee reschedule per quarter is included; subsequent late cancellations follow the schedule above.
4. Weather and illness
If hazardous weather, your illness, or our therapist's illness prevents a safe session, we will reschedule at no charge. Please communicate as early as possible — if you wake up unwell, send a text right away. We would always rather reschedule than risk transmitting illness or driving on unsafe roads.
5. Therapist boundaries and conduct
Lavonne Ayoub is a licensed Master Massage Therapist. All sessions are professional therapeutic bodywork only. Improper conduct, sexual solicitation, or any behavior that makes the therapist feel unsafe will end the session immediately, will be billed at the full session rate, and may result in a permanent service decline and a report to local authorities where appropriate.
6. Health and informed consent
Each new client completes a brief intake at the first session. Please disclose pregnancy, recent surgery, blood-thinning medication, infectious skin conditions, recent injuries, allergies (including essential oil sensitivities), and any other contraindications before we begin. We reserve the right to decline, modify, or end a session for safety reasons. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment; consult your physician for any medical condition.
7. Sanitation and safety
Linens are laundered between every client. Hands are sanitized before and after every session. The massage table, bolsters, and all reusable equipment are sanitized between sessions. Single-use containers are used for oils where possible. Clients are asked to provide a clean, well-ventilated space with room for the table and reasonable access to a washroom.
8. Liability and insurance
Lavonne maintains professional liability insurance as required for licensed massage therapy practice. Clients are responsible for accurately disclosing health conditions; massage is not a substitute for medical care. To the maximum extent permitted by Idaho law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to a session is limited to the amount paid for that session. We are not liable for losses related to undisclosed contraindications, pre-existing conditions, or for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Gift certificates
Gift certificates are non-refundable, do not expire, and may be transferred between named recipients with our written consent. Gift certificate balances may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law. Lost or destroyed gift certificates can be reissued only when the original purchase is verifiable in our records.
10. Membership terms
Memberships are billed monthly on the first day of the month. Up to 2 unused sessions are held in reserve at any time and roll forward while membership remains active. Members may pause or cancel with 3 days' written notice (text or email is fine). Sessions are shareable within your household or executive team for tiers that explicitly include sharing (Elite Care and Executive Wellness). Unused sessions do not refund on cancellation but remain redeemable for 90 days after the final billing date.
11. Service area and travel
We deliver in-home and in-office sessions across Coeur d'Alene, Hayden Lake, Dalton Gardens, Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Athol, Gozzer Ranch, Liberty Lake, and Spokane. Locations outside this area may be accommodated by arrangement and may include a travel fee, quoted before booking is confirmed.
12. Intellectual property
"Total Body Flow Massage" is a registered trademark. Site content, photography, and the Total Body Flow Massage® method materials are owned by us and may not be reproduced for commercial use without written permission.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or any session will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kootenai County, Idaho, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in these terms waives any right that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect any change. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email or SMS. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
