A few of the questions clients ask most often before their first in-home session.
How does in-home massage work?
Lavonne arrives at your home with a portable massage table, fresh linens, and a curated kit of oils and aromatherapy. She sets up in any quiet, climate-controlled room — bedroom, living room, sunroom, or guest suite — typically taking 10 minutes to prepare. After your session, she breaks down and removes everything. Most clients report the entire experience feels more restful than a spa visit because there's no drive home afterwards.
What's your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at 50% of the session price. No-shows are charged in full. Members have one no-fee reschedule per quarter built in. Weather and illness exceptions are handled case-by-case — please call us.
Do I need to provide anything?
No. Lavonne brings the table, linens, oils, music, and aromatherapy. We just need a quiet room with enough floor space for a 30″ × 73″ table (most bedrooms work), and ideally a place for you to undress privately and a glass of water for after.
Is in-home massage safe?
Yes. Lavonne is licensed by the Idaho Board of Massage Therapy, carries professional liability insurance, follows industry-standard sanitation protocols (linens laundered between every client; hands and table sanitized; oils dispensed individually), and conducts a brief intake at your first session to flag any contraindications. All client information is kept confidential.
How does payment work?
Most clients pay via Square at the end of the session — credit card, debit, or contactless. Members are billed monthly. Gift cards can be used as full or partial payment. Members and pre-paid clients can also receive a payment link via secure SMS for advance settlement. Tipping is not expected at our price tier but is gratefully accepted.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes — gift certificates for any session length ($195–$395) are available year-round. Each comes in a luxury gift box and can be delivered by mail or hand-delivered locally. Visit our Gift Cards page or call 208-277-7889 to purchase.
