COVID 19 AND OTHER CONTAGIOUS ILLNESSES

Due to the nature of massage therapy and the close proximity of therapist and client, over an extended period of time in a closed space, there is a common-sense expectation of elevated risk in contagious illness transmission, and your Total Body Flow Massage therapist cannot guarantee that you will not contract COVID 19, the flu, or any other infectious illness. Therefore, if you decide to book a massage session for either in-home or in the massage spa, you will be receiving massage therapy at your own risk. ​​​

Please do not book a massage if:

​

• You have any comorbidities or underlying medical conditions that could leave you at a higher risk of serious complications upon contracting COVID 19 or other contagious diseases.

• You are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID 19, the flu, a cold, or any other contagious infections.

• You have not been cleared by a doctor after having experienced any COVID 19 symptoms in the last 2 weeks.

• Anyone in your household has been knowingly exposed to the flu, a cold, COVID-19, or any other highly contagious infection.

Healthy hygiene and immaculate sanitation practices are always important to us and we continue to take your health and the health of our therapist seriously.

As always, should your therapist become ill your massage will be rescheduled so as to not spread unnecessary illness, and we respectfully ask that you reschedule if you are experiencing any signs of illness.

Universal Guidelines:

 

All equipment and tools are sanitized with a full spectrum cleaner, before and after all appointments according to universal recommendations for infectious diseases.

​

Linens and blankets used are washed after each use according to universal recommendations for infectious diseases.

​

It is not required that you wear a mask during a Total Body Flow Massage session. Due to the duration of time and the close proximity of therapist and client in a closed space, there is an elevated risk of disease transmission, even with a mask.  While we always maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene for your protection, your Total Body Flow Massage therapist cannot guarantee that you will not contract an illness and you will be receiving massage therapy at your own risk.

For your own comfort, you may wear a mask to help with sneeze and cough etiquette if you would like to.

Your Massage Experience

Please practice good personal hygiene and shower before each session.

 

Please wash or sanitize your hands before the massage session begins.

 

To avoid distractions and achieve maximum health benefits from your massage session, we recommend shutting off all personal technology devices. 

​

Please refrain from alcoholic beverages before any massage session. Massage services will be rescheduled if the client appears to be intoxicated and the full-service charges will be applied.

​

The beginning age for massage is 18 years old.

​

Total Body Flow Massage is strictly professional and therapeutic, following Idaho state law. Massage sessions are NOT sexual, and clients are not allowed to present nude in the therapist's presence before, during, or after a massage session. Total Body Flow Massage uses appropriate professional draping during every massage session per the Total Body Flow Massage policy. Your Total Body Flow Massage therapist will terminate the massage session immediately upon any sexual misconduct.

 

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and reserve the right to terminate the massage session at any time.

Your session will be followed up with accountability surveys and an opportunity for feedback. We appreciate and thrive on your feedback it is how we keep giving you a superior experience!

Notice of Cancellation or Rescheduled Services (Massage Spa) 

You may cancel your appointment up to 24-hours beforehand the session is to begin.

 

In circumstances when a 24-hour cancellation is not possible a full charge will be assessed.

 

In circumstances when a 24-hour cancellation is not possible due to sickness or another life emergency, only a 50% charge will be assessed to cover the time scheduled for the appointment.

 

If you are within the 24-hour cancellation time frame please call to cancel and reschedule your appointment by phone. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations within the 24-hour time frame as described above will be assessed a fee at the full value price of service(s) reserved.

 

All no-show reservations will be assessed a fee at the full value of services reserved.

Please note that we allocate time, especially for each client session. Therefore, a credit card is required to guarantee these appointments. Your card will not be charged until the scheduled appointment has been completed or late fees are applied if a no-show or late cancellation is necessary. Menu service and prices are subject to change without notice.

Payments are accepted using major credit cards only. 

Cash is accepted.

Checks are accepted from established clientele.

Gratuities are accepted but not required.
